This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use the mobile application (the "App") provided by the App Developer ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


1. Data Controller

As required under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller responsible for your information is the App Developer, residing in the European Union.


2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum amount of personal information necessary to operate the App and provide its services.

Account Data (All Users): Whether you are signed in or using the App as a guest, we collect basic technical and account-related data such as device type, app version, phone language, account creation date, and last login time.

Signed-In Users: If you sign in using Apple ID, we may collect your Apple ID email address (real or private relay) and optionally your first and last name if shared by Apple. This allows your account to persist across devices.

Call Metadata: When you place a call, we log the phone number dialed, the call timestamp and duration, and the IP address used for the call. This is used for billing, support, and fraud prevention. We do not collect IP addresses during normal app usage or login.

No Audio Content or Location Tracking: We do not record call audio, track your location, or use cookies.


3. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used to:

  • Provide and maintain calling functionality
  • Manage user accounts and balances
  • Display call history
  • Monitor usage for fraud prevention
  • Respond to user support requests


4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account exists. Both guest and signed-in users can delete their accounts from the app. All associated data is permanently erased. If an account remains inactive for 24 months, it may be deleted automatically in line with GDPR data minimization principles.


5. Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While no system is completely secure, we are committed to safeguarding your information.


6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If you believe your child has provided such data, please contact us at info@fontele.app. We will promptly delete it. Parents are encouraged to monitor and guide their children’s app usage.


7. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Access: Request access to your personal data.
  • Rectification: Request corrections to inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Restriction: Ask us to limit processing of your data.

8. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We may share data with service providers like Apple (for purchases and login) and our telecommunications provider (for call delivery), solely to operate the App. These partners are bound by confidentiality and data protection requirements.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted in the App with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after updates means you agree to the revised terms.
